One Fine Afternoon @ Gabby's Bistro

Last week, my friends and I went to Gabby’s Bistro which is located at Florentina Homes, Bantayan, Dumaguete City. I am a big fan of this place because it offers not just good food, but as well as speedy service. Their dishes are undeniably delicious, the prices are just right, and not to mention, their ambiance is one of the best around the city. Gabby's Bistro in Dumaguete is actually the best place to go to have fun dining and experience an unbelievably amazing ambiance.

Marsala Parmegiana
Since this dish is new on their menu, I ordered their Marsala Parmegiana priced at Php 165. I am guessing that this one is their 'improved' version of their Pork Parmegiana, which is not on their menu anymore. I loved how tender the breaded pork loin was, considering that it was crispy on the outside. This dish is consisted of beer-battered and fried breaded pork loin, topped with cheese and herbs and, of course, Gabby's Bistro's  marsala gravy. It also comes with mashed potatoes and a small cup of salad.

Ramon's Liempo
My friend ordered Ramon's Liempo priced at Php 165. This dish is the owner's brother's favorite meal when he's back in town. The grilled pork belly was marinated and grilled the pinoy way and was laid on top of a bed of java rice, which really went well with the liempo. This dish is also served with a small cup of salad and a barbecue sauce.

Spaghetti Bolognese
Gabby's Bistro also has their version of Spaghetti Bolognese priced at Php 185. It is served with a slice of french bread.

Sun-dried Tomato Pasta
The Sun-dried Tomato Pasta is priced at Php 145. I like how Gabby's Bistro put a generous amount of Parmesan cheese on top of the pasta. This is also served with a slice of french bread.

Chips and Dip
Since my friends and I had a lot of chikkas to tell to each other, we decided to get something to nibble after dinner. Since none of us have a sweet tooth, we decided to have something light so we had a basket of Chips and Dip priced at Php 60. These thinly-sliced potatoes were perfect for the dip which has a mustard-like taste.

There are still a lot of dishes I have yet to try at Gabby's Bistro. But as of the moment, the Marsala Parmegiana is my favorite! :-)

Perhaps Gabby's Bistro is one of the best places to dine when in Dumaguete City. You do not only experience good food, but great ambiance and service as well.
