This coming Saturday, May 28, 2011, I will be attending the Cebu Blog Camp for the first time! I wasn't able to join last year's CBC due to some unfortunate events, that's why this year, I made sure I will not miss it anymore! :) And I am sooo zooper excited, I just can't hide it! Lol;)
So why am I so ecstatic about the Cebu Blog Camp? Well, here are my reasons:
1. Learn more about blogging - Of course, I will be learning a lot about blogging in this event and what makes it more interesting is the fact that I will be learning from the experts themselves. This year's CBC programme includes Food and Restaurant Review 101 and since I am currently running a 4-month old food blog, I am confident that I will learn a lot of do's and dont's about food blogging. And I must say, this is one of the reasons why I am thrilled to attend CBC.
2. Meet bloggers - Although I've been in the blogosphere for quite some time now, I only have a few blogger friends whom I personally know (Hello EvanJohnn and Rabsin!). So in CBC, I wish to get acquainted with these bloggers whose blogs I follow and read every now and then.
3. Enjoy - I know this event will be very fun and so I'm hoping, not only to learn but, to have loads of fun with other bloggers as well. It's great to have fun with people whom you share the same passion and that's BLOGGING! :)
4. Exposure/Networking - I've mentioned that this food blog of mine is only 4 months old and so I'm hoping to 'expose' myself (as a blogger) and my blog to others. In all means, I have to let the world know that I exist in the blogosphere! Haha:)
5. Visit Cebu - I am a big fan of Cebu City and almost everything in it (including the people, the food, the restaurants, the malls, the bars), so attending this year's CBC can be a very good excuse to visit the city again! :) Yayyy!

The Cebu Blog Camp is an event organized annually by the Cebu Bloggers of the Blog and Soul Movement which is the educating leg of the Philippine Blog Awards Inc. which has been running for already four years. This is the largest gathering of bloggers in Cebu.

you should apply for next year's DFAT! It's an experience to remember. :D I think application starts on November. They're looking for 5 bloggers from Luzon, 5 from Visayas, and 5 from Mindanao. =)

i've never been able to join any such event yet... maybe someday..
